Zippy Systems has enjoyed a highly successful and productive relationship with Avocet since its inception in 2003.
Avocet's main product is the Transmission Automation System. The work covers many technical areas including realtime control
of broadcast equipment, communications via network and serial line, User interface design and development, Unix scripts written using the
Korn shell, iOS application development, Web applications for the automation system, site visits, training of operational staff and much much more.
Avocet welcomes any opportunity to be involved with special projects. These normally require customisation of the automation system
and occasionally new technology. Recent projects have raised the possibility of the use of
Rabbit processors as specialised peripherals, allowing us to develop a new area of expertise.
